Combining strategic research with counseling support to help women entrepreneurs in Ohio overcome bureaucratic chaos and fear of failure.
As a mother, I realized early on that the workday doesn't truly end at 5:00 PM. That is simply when the "second shift" begins. You come home, and instantly, your focus shifts to your children—ensuring they are fulfilled physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is the natural, unavoidable gravity of motherhood.
However, the corporate world is often designed for the pursuit of profit, not the well-being of the family. I realized that rigid 8-to-5 schedules and ruthless competition were meaningless if they came at the expense of my home life. I believe that a society that marginalizes the family is destroying its own future—like cutting the very branch it rests upon.
My new journey began with a desire to learn, share, and give back. I started writing about entrepreneurship for our local community newspaper and launched a volunteer project where high school students, including my own daughter, interviewed local businesswomen. When I shared my vision with the newspaper’s editor, he saw a business in my passion. That conversation was the spark for WeWin.
Today, I combine my background in counseling with business strategy to help women navigate the startup world. My goal is to help them avoid common pitfalls and build companies that fit their lives, not the other way around.
